The Venus Glow™ is a gentle, non-invasive hydradermabrasion treatment designed to deeply cleanse, exfoliate, and hydrate your skin. Using an advanced 360-degree rotating tip, light suction, and ultra-fine jet streams, the treatment reaches deep into the pores to loosen and remove dirt, debris, and excess oil. Following your hydradermabrasion, we enhance your results by layering professional AlumierMD skincare products, carefully selected and personalized to your unique skin type and concerns.
Venus Glow is a versatile “skin reset” designed for almost everyone. Whether you have a specific skin concern or just need a deep clean, this treatment is highly customizable for all skin types and tones. It is great for:
- Congested Pores: If you struggle with blackheads, whiteheads, or “bumpy” skin.
- Dullness: If your skin looks tired and needs an instant “red-carpet” boost.
- Oily or Combination Skin: To deep-clean pores and balance excess oil.
- Rough Texture: To gently buff away dry, dead skin cells for a smoother feel.
- Dehydration: To flush out debris and infuse moisture back into the skin.
Our Hydradermabrasion treatment is a gentle and invigorating way to deep-clean your pores while instantly reviving a tired complexion. Here is what you can expect from your experience:
Treatment Time: Sessions are efficient and typically take approximately 30 minutes, making this the perfect “lunchtime” treatment that fits easily into a busy schedule.
Sensation: During your Venus Glow™ treatment, you will feel a gentle suction and a cooling mist as the specialized tip moves across your skin. Most guests find the sensation very relaxing, with little to no discomfort.
Number of Treatments: While you will see an immediate “glow” after just one session, we may recommend either a series of treatments, or a single session to clean out your skin in preparation for a different modality. At the time of consultation we will help customize a plan that aligns with your skin goals.
Downtime: You can return to your normal activities, immediately following your session. Here is what you can
Pre-Treatment
To get the best results and minimize sensitivity, we require you to start preparing your skin 5-7 days before your appointment:
- Pause the “Actives” and Exfoliants: Retinols, Glycolic Acid (AHA), Salicylic Acid (BHA), Vitamin C serums and physical or chemical exfoliants must be discontinued 5-7 days prior to your peel. This allows your skin’s natural barrier to be at its strongest.
- Avoid Hair Removal: Refrain from waxing, electrolysis, or using hair removal creams on the treatment area 48 hours prior
- Sun Awareness: Avoid direct, intentional sun exposure or tanning beds. We cannot treat skin that is sunburned. While this treatment doesn’t use acids, we cannot treat skin that is actively sunburned or irritated.
Note: If you are prone to cold sores, please let us know! We may recommend an antiviral medication prior to your treatment to prevent a breakout, to which our medical director can assist with.
Post-Treatment
Venus Glow requires no downtime, but following these simple steps will help you maintain your “Peak Glow” and keep your pores clear for longer:
- Immediate Hydration: Your pores are now clear and highly receptive. This is the perfect time to apply your favorite high-quality serums and moisturizers, as they will absorb deeper into the skin.
- SPF Protection: Always protect your freshly exfoliated skin with a broad-spectrum SPF 30+. Your skin is more susceptible to the sun immediately following a deep-clean.
- Go Bare or Glam: You may apply makeup immediately after your treatment; however, many clients prefer to go makeup-free for the rest of the day to let their skin breathe and soak in the hydration.
- Activities: You can return to your normal routine immediately, including exercise. We simply suggest avoiding extremely hot saunas or steam rooms for the first 24 hours to prevent any unnecessary flushing.
To ensure your skin stays healthy and achieves the best results, Venus Glow treatments are not recommended if any of the following apply:
- Active Infections & Conditions: We are unable to perform treatment over active cold sores, warts, or open wounds in the treatment area. We cannot treat areas with active eczema, psoriasis, or rosacea flares. The skin must be free of significant inflammation or unexplained rashes in the area being treated.
- Recent Illness: Treatment should be postponed if you have a compromised immune system or active skin infections.
- Accutane: You must be off Isotretinoin for at least 6–12 months before receiving this treatment.
- Retinoids: Please discontinue the use of Retin-A or high-strength Vitamin A for 3–7 days prior to your session.
- Recent Procedures: We recommend waiting 14 days after Botox or Fillers, and at least 6 months after major facial surgery.
- Sun Exposure: We cannot treat skin that is currently sunburned or has had significant, intentional sun exposure in the last 14 days.
- Sensitivity: While Venus Glow™ is generally safe for all skin types, please inform your provider if you have extremely hypersensitive skin or a history of severe bruising.
- Metal Implants: Please notify your provider if you have any metal implants or piercings in the treatment area.
