Dr. Robert Krushel | Medical Director & Owner
Dr. Robert Krushel, MD, FRCSC, serves as Medical Director of 901 Clinical Aesthetics and is an experienced provider of Botox Cosmetic® and dermal filler treatments. As a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC), Dr. Krushel brings advanced medical training, surgical precision, and a deep understanding of facial anatomy to every aesthetic treatment he performs. His approach prioritizes patient safety, natural-looking results, and individualized treatment planning.
In 2020, Dr. Krushel and his clinical aesthetician spouse, Andrea, founded Glow Medical Aesthetics in Lethbridge, Alberta to address the growing demand for advanced, medically delivered aesthetic services in Southern Alberta. The practice quickly grew, with Dr. Krushel expanding his injectable services to multiple communities across Alberta and the Northwest Territories.
Dr. Krushel has provided regular Botox Cosmetic® and dermal filler clinics in Fernie since 2023. Through his ongoing work with local patients, he recognized an opportunity to bring more comprehensive aesthetic care to the community — including advanced skincare and medical-grade treatments.
901 Clinical Aesthetics was created as a shared vision between Dr. Krushel and Spa 901 owners, Laura and Jessica. Together, they combined medical expertise with established business excellence to offer Fernie a collaborative, elevated approach to aesthetic care. The result is a clinic grounded in medical integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to helping clients look refreshed, confident, and naturally radiant.
Hailey Maxwell | Clinical Aesthetician
Hailey began her career in aesthetics in 2019 and from the outset, she has been committed to delivering thoughtful, results-driven treatments grounded in technical precision and ongoing education. Known for her attention to detail and personalized approach, she has built a strong client following and a passion for corrective skincare.
Since relocating to British Columbia in 2021, Hailey has continued to advance her expertise in clinical skin health. She recently completed her Laser, IPL, and Radiofrequency Technician certification through Glow Up Academy in Calgary, enabling her to provide medical-grade, technology-driven treatments through 901 Clinical Aesthetics and offer corrective options beyond traditional facials.
She is especially passionate about guiding clients toward advanced solutions when appropriate — including IPL skin rejuvenation and IPL hair reduction for those ready to move beyond the maintenance of waxing.
Hailey believes healthy skin is never the result of a single treatment. She encourages clients to consider the bigger picture — including lifestyle, hydration, nutrition, stress, hormones, environmental factors, and consistent home care.
Her advice is simple: invest thoughtfully, book a professional consultation, and commit to the process. Healthy, glowing skin is a journey — not a quick fix — and the best results come from a personalized plan combined with consistency both in-clinic and at home.
Laura Frost | Clinical Aesthetician & Owner
Laura has spent more than a decade building her career within Fernie’s wellness community, co-owning and growing Spa 901 with a focus on meaningful, client-centered care. From the beginning, she was drawn to skincare — not only the treatments themselves, but the science behind how skin functions, adapts, and transforms.
Laura’s interest in medical aesthetics began in 2023 when Botox clinics were introduced at the spa. Watching clinical treatments become part of the wellness environment she and her business partner had carefully cultivated sparked a natural curiosity about how their services could evolve. It opened the door to new possibilities — blending advanced medical treatments with the personalized care their clients had come to trust. Inspired by that progression, Laura pursued formal clinical training and began developing a clinical aesthetics branch of the company in partnership with Dr. Krushel.
By 2025, Laura turned that passion into professional expertise, earning her Medical Aesthetician certification in Calgary, AB. This milestone marked her transition into the treatment room, where she now delivers advanced, clinical-grade solutions tailored to each client’s unique skin needs.
Laura’s philosophy is rooted in education, integrity, and long-term results. She empowers clients to better understand their skin and how the right treatments and ingredients create meaningful change. She recommends only what truly suits each individual, combining clinical treatments, personalized home care, and lifestyle habits for confidence-boosting results
