Venus Versa™ Pro Viva Treatment (NanoFractional Radiofrequency) is a skin resurfacing treatment that delivers controlled RF energy through tiny pins to stimulate collagen production and trigger the skin’s natural healing response.  This creates tiny wounds, which the body then works to heal naturally.  This treatment improves skin texture, tone, and firmness while reducing the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, and enlarged pores. Results continue to improve over time as collagen rebuilds, with minimal downtime compared to traditional resurfacing treatments.

This advanced solution is designed to rebuild andresurface the skin’s texture. This treatment is highly customizable and is ideal for those looking to address:

  • Acne Scarring & Texture: Specifically designed to fade the appearance of acne scars and smooth out deep textural irregularities.
  • Deep Wrinkles & Fine Lines: Best for individuals seeking a more intensive treatment to diminish stubborn lines and aging.
  • Enlarged Pores: Effectively helps to visibly shrink and refine the appearance of large pores for a smoother look.
  • Stretch Marks & Scars: Ideal for targeting and reducing the visibility of stretch marks or other surgical/accidental scars on the face or body.
  • Uneven Pigmentation: For those looking to correct skin discoloration and achieve a more uniform, balanced complexion.

The most intense treatment that we offer,  NanoFractional RF Skin Resurfacing is a high-performance treatment designed to rebuild and resurface the skin’s texture while reviving a tired complexion. This clinical modality uses tiny pins to deliver Radio Frequency energy through the epidermis, creating micro-dermal wounds that trigger your body’s natural healing response. Here is what you can expect from your experience:

  • Treatment Time: Clinical sessions are highly efficient and typically take around 20-30 minutes per area.
  • Comfort & Sensation: To ensure maximum comfort, we apply a compounded topical numbing agent prior to the procedure. During the treatment, you may still feel a warm, prickling sensation as the NanoFractional tip moves across the skin, though most guests find this very manageable. Certain areas will feel more sensitive, such as on around the lips, nose and under the delicate eye area.
  • Number of Treatments: While a single session will provide subtle results,  a series of 3 to 4 treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart is recommended to achieve clinical results for deep wrinkles and scarring.  Results will be most apparent 1-3 months post-treatment as collagen rebuilds and your skin goes through its’ natural recovery process.
  • Downtime & Recovery: Unlike aggressive lasers, Venus Viva™ offers a significantly shorter recovery period. Expect 24–48 hours of social downtime characterized by moderate redness (similar to a sunburn) and mild swelling. Tiny, pin-point micro-crusts will form and naturally flake off over the next 3–5 days; it is vital to let these lift on their own to ensure optimal resurfacing results. If we proceed with the 80 pin (MD tip), please expect downtime of 7-10 days as your skin recovers.

Pre-Treatment

  • To ensure the most effective resurfacing and minimize skin sensitivity, please begin your preparation 5–7 days prior to your appointment:

    • Pause Actives and Exfoliants: Discontinue the use of Retinols, Glycolic Acid (AHA), Salicylic Acid (BHA), Vitamin C serums, and all physical or chemical exfoliants. This allows your skin’s natural barrier to be at its strongest before the fractional treatment.
    • Manage Hair Removal: Shave the treatment area 12–24 hours before your session to ensure the NanoFractional pins make direct contact with the skin. Avoid waxing, electrolysis, or hair removal creams for at least 2 weeks prior.
    • Sun Awareness: Avoid direct, intentional sun exposure, tanning beds, or self-tanning products. We cannot treat skin that is actively sunburned, tanned, or irritated.
    • Cold Sore Prevention: If you are prone to cold sores, please notify us in advance so we can recommend a prophylactic antiviral medication.

    Post-Treatment

Venus Viva™ involves a specialized healing phase. Following these steps will help protect your skin and maximize the “glow” of your new texture:

    • The First 24 Hours: Do not apply anything to the treated area, including water, moisturizers, or makeup, for the first 24 hours following your procedure. This allows the micro-channels to begin the healing process undisturbed.
    • Gentle Cleansing & Hydration: After the initial 24-hour window, you may resume using a gentle, fragrance-free cleanser and high-quality moisturizer to keep the skin hydrated. If you feel a “sunburn” sensation, a cool compress or aloe vera can be applied.
    • Continue Pausing Actives: Strictly avoid all “actives” (Retinols, AHAs, BHAs, Vitamin C) and exfoliants for at least 5 days post-treatment to prevent severe irritation.
    • SPF Protection: Your freshly resurfaced skin will be highly photosensitive. Apply a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ daily to all treated areas to prevent hyperpigmentation.
    • Avoid Heat & Friction: For the first 24–48 hours, refrain from extremely hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, and vigorous exercise to prevent unnecessary flushing.

Protect the Micro-Crusts: As tiny, pin-point scabs form, do not pick, scrub, or scratch the treated area. Allow these to naturally flake off over 3–5 days to ensure proper skin renewal.

If any of the following apply, you cannot undergo NanoFractional RF treatments at this time:
